Sadly, Alison decided that last week would be her final WBW post (at least for her weekly posting and link party). This decision, although completely understandable, left a gaping hole in the blog-world. Where will we enjoy awkward photos of our friends without WBW?!
So I've decided to carry on the tradition. And just in case you don't think I'm capable... allow me to show you this:
It's the button that Alison used to link back to her blog.
The whole photo looks like this:
(Your welcome, A&A for my sharing of this photo with even MORE people on the interweb!)
See the shirt that Alison is wearing? It's from Kanakuk Kamps circa 1992. Now... check THIS out:
Yep! Yours truly was at Kanakuk Kamps that same summer!
Coincidence? Doubtful. I'll take it as a sign that I was meant to carry on the WBW tradition!
(For a great example of a WBW post, check out this post from Alison's blog.)
So... grab a button, link up and enjoy the revived WBW fun!
I LOVE the transition/Kanakuk t-shirt connection!!! Only other thing I have to say is: GO KIOWAS. Thanks for the shout outs! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Although... I have to reply... GO KICKS! ;)
Delete1. So glad you're carrying on the tradition!
ReplyDelete2. Also so glad you finally found the pic!
3. I sort of hate you for posting that terrible picture of me, but I suppose it's fair game being that it was already on the internet.
4. At first I thought your friends in the Kamp pic seemed really old until I realized they were probably actually your counselors :)
1. I'm a good Ag... can't see a tradition die.
Delete2. Yes-- it was hidden in my kamp memories binder... odd spot...
3. Why would you want to hide from such an awesome mock-turtle sleeveless top?!
4. Yes-- those were the counselors. That was taken during the last day awards ceremony.
Ha, you're right, that shirt was amazing!!
