Day Two, Part Four

After an early morning crashing the gates at Hollywood Studios, it was time to check out our room and take a quick nap. So we took the boat back to the Beach Club:
In October I ran a half marathon in Orlando that went through three of the Disney Parks. The very last mile was on this boardwalk (not the vertical pier you see here, but the horizontal boardwalk that it intersects with). Even though it was a late race (it started at 10pm) hotel guests from the Beach Club were out cheering us on to the finish. Staying here brought back some very fun memories.

The door to the hotel rooms looked like castle doors:
When you walk in there is an entryway. To the right is the first bedroom:
With a connected bathroom. The bathroom has a section with two sinks, a huge mirror and a long counter-top, then a separate area with the tub and toilet. I thought this was very smart of Disney-- since there would be many girls getting ready at once!

Left from the entry way brings us into the kitchen:
(That's me checking out the kitchen supplies-- they had everything from wine glasses to cookie sheets!)

And the living room:
The sofa is a pullout. We didn't need an extra bed, so I'm not sure how comfortable it is... but it's nice to have the option.

The door in the back of this photo leads to the master bath, which is connected to the master bedroom:
It has a tub, sink and counter space, a separate toilet, and a separate shower and second sink area. Brilliant!

The shutters from the above photo lead into the master bedroom:
The window in the back of that photo leads to a long balcony which connects at the first bedroom and the living room. We were able to watch the Epcot fireworks from the balcony which was a fun way to end the day.

I couldn't recommend the Beach Club more for a large family (or group). We had plenty of space and were quite comfortable in the villas. Bonus that it's walking (or boating) distance to two of the parks. I hope to stay there again someday!
